ARE YOU AN ARCHITECT?	No. I´m developer and conceptionist of the idea art´otel.
WHERE ARE YOU FROM?	Right now I´m living in Berlin. I was born in Strassbourg in the Alsace.
WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU?	The first position has my family, the second my friends, and the third surely the idea of the art´otels: Every hotel is like a small museum and exposes the work of one artist. In Dresden it is the artist A.R. Penck. If the artist feels good in the atmosphere of the house, than also the guests will feel fine. And he felt good. The special atmosphere and the art are very,very important to me, because I tink the qualities are fitting together. This includes people and things. Everything great goes well together with another good thing, it doesn´t matter in which time it was produced and of which material it is.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR WORK?	My work is the connection between the art, the culture and also the filthy lucre.   There exists many collectors which get built museums by the communities. But we said: "That we can do by ourselves. We will build our museum and we will call it "Hotel"." So our guests have the possibility not only to have a look at the paintings but also to sleep beneath a Penck or Warhol. Who is doing that in normal? Everybody gets confronted with the art, and by possessing it we earn money. Nobody has as many works of art like we do. That is our philosophie: A museum in which you can live.
FUTURE?	Mainly I think we will have a good future, also with regard to the art´otel.
WHAT IS THE PARTICULARITY OF THE CONCEPT OF THE art´otel?	We have a high quality concerning the art (A. R. Penck), the management, design and furnishings. Our hotel in Dresden is designed by Dennis Santa Ciara. We have a good architecture by Rolf Rave. We try to unite the the three themes good architecture, good design and good art, like the Bauhaus did before. The hotel as an overall work of art ...
WHICH EXPERIENCES HAVE YOU MADE COLLABORATING WITH ARCHITECTS?	That are very good experiences. In general they are all friends. It is a very personal story.
WHICH QUESTION YOU HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO BE ASKED?	Perhaps if I´m happy? I am mainly happy.
